Minutes:
The Chair of the Audit and
Standards Committee, Councillor Higgins, introduced the Audit and Standards
Committee Annual Report 2023/24 and proposed that Council notes the report. The
Vice Chair of the Audit and Standards Committee, Councillor Mason, seconded the
motion.
In introducing the report,
the Chair of Audit and Standards Committee thanked Officers including: the
Section 151 Officer, Dawn Garton; the Chief Internal Auditor, Rachel
Ashley-Caunt; the previous Monitoring Officer, Alison McKane; the current
Monitoring Officer, Clive Tobin; and the Senior Democratic Services and
Scrutiny Officer, Adam Green and his team. He also thanked the Members and in
particular Vice Chair, Councillor Mason.
