Minutes: On consideration of the evidence, the Licensing Officer’s report, the representation of the driver, relevant legislation, case law and policies the Sub-Committee made the following decision. RESOLVED To REVOKE the Driver’s
Combined Private Hire and Hackney Drivers Licence with immediate effect in
accordance with section 61(2B) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Act 1976 in the interests of public safety. There was a right of appeal in respect of this decision which must be lodged at the Magistrates’ Court within 21 days. |
