The Town Centre Action Plan and Design Guide is to be presented to Cabinet.

That Cabinet:

1.     NOTED the contents of this report and supported a review and update to the Town Centre Action Plan for Melton Mowbray.

2.     ENDORSED the Town Centre Design Guide, as outlined in the report, and supported its progression to adoption as a Supplementary Planning Document, following a statutory consultation process.

A report on a disposal linked with the Cattle Market/Stockyard site (Site 1B) is to be presented to Cabinet.

That Cabinet:

DELEGATED AUTHORITY to the Director of Place and Prosperity, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Corporate Finance, Property and Resources and the Director for Corporate Resources, the authority to dispose of a parcel of land knows as ‘site 1b (Scalford Road Car Park)’ at Cattle Market North, Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray.
