Broughton and Dalby Report PDF 202 KB The Head of Regulatory Services to present a report inviting the Committee to consider whether the Broughton and Dalby Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to Referendum. Minutes: Head of Regulatory
Services introduced the item. Cllr Rhodes moved
for approval, citing support in the community. This was seconded by Cllr
Graham. Cllr Higgins raised the village
envelopes may be challengeable unless kept up to date, and could be a weakness of
emerging Neighbourhood Development Plan. Furthermore stating that developers
could challenge them moving forward. Local Plan may create departures from NDP
if goes through in current form. Cllr Glancy asked if there was a method of
review in Neighbourhood Planning, especially relating to the emerging Local
Plan. JW stated that there was. Cllr Rhodes stated that Neighbourhood
Development Plan groups may advised to review NDP when final Local Plan is
finalised. JW agreed, but mentioned that most of the NDP groups in question are
currently engaged in Local Plan examination. The vote was
Unanimous in favour of recommendation. |

Waltham & Thorpe Arnold Report PDF 200 KB The Head of Regulatory Services to present a report inviting the Committee to consider whether the Waltham & Thorpe Arnold Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to Referendum. Minutes: Cllr Orson left due
to declaring an interest. Head of Regulatory
Services introduced the item. Explained the extra site situation arising from
the examination and that this would have an impact on planning committee the
following week. Cllr Rhodes queried
whether the issue of six hills and effect on the Neighbourhood Plan. Planning Officer explained that the
Neighbourhood Plan was well aware of this and that they accepted they were not
the body to decide such strategically important sites and could merely react if
Six Hills was approved. This is complicit in the Neighbourhood Plan which
states the NDP will be reviewed . Cllr Rhodes
proposed the recommendation be approved and was duly seconded. The vote was
unanimous in favour of the recommendation. |
